Washington square is a neighborhood in North Brookline, with bustling streets, charming small stores, and a wide variety of eateries. The neighborhood is characterized by brownstones, both old and new, and houses with historic Victorian designs in very green side streets. Located at the bottom of Aspinwall and Corey Hills, Washington Square is just a stone throw’s away from a beautiful vista and picnic location. Also in Washington Square is the iconic Washington Square Park, a green 18-ft tall Victorian clock from which many other clocks in surrounding areas are modeled after. Washington Square is easily accessible by the MBTA green line’s “C” branch and the 66 bus route.
